The Cybercrime, Digital Criminology and Policing Thematic Groups will be hosting a one-day Research Student Workshop on December 10. The event is designed to provide research students with an opportunity to informally talk about their research (i.e. 5 minute research snapshots) in a supportive academic environment, as well as provide a venue for networking with other like-minded students and staff. The workshop will conclude with a virtual social and networking event.

The Organising Committee would like to extend an invitation to any other ANZSOC member (students or academic staff) that may be interested in joining us for the day (or part thereof) . For your convenience, click here for a link to the event program.

If you are interested in attending (FREE), we ask that you please confirm your attendance as soon as possible by formally registering herehttps://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/research-student-workshop-cyber-digital-and-policing-criminologies-tickets-130533223385

This event will be run both online (via Zoom), or in person (COVID permitting).

Online meeting details: See program for Zoom links and passwords.

In-person meetings details: For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity for participants to meet as a group in person, and connect to the virtual conference as a group. There will be in-person meetings in Adelaide (University of Adelaide) and Brisbane (QUT). If you are interested in joining one of these in-person meetings, please contact us at digital.research@adelaide.edu.au by COB on December 8 to confirm which location you will be attending (this is in addition to registering). We will then email you with additional details.

We have also set up a dedicated Padlet site for the event, which will provide a space to collect materials produced for and during the event. During the day, we would encourage you to add your thoughts to the Padlet. A link to the Padlet site can be found in the event program.
