It gives me great pleasure to announce that the paper: The merits and risks of body-worn camera footage in domestic and family violence incidents and legal proceedings: a study of police perceptions and Experiences – Authors: Zarina Vakhitova, Mary Iliadis, Bridget Harris, Danielle Tyson & Asher Flynn, has been awarded the “Outstanding Policing Research Award” 2022.
The ANZSOC Policing Thematic Group gives one award each year in recognition of either a single significant research project or a cohesive body of research that contributes to advancing knowledge in policing theory, policy and/or practice. The Outstanding Policing Research Award is given annually to a member (or members) of the Policing Thematic Group of ANZSOC (regular or student membership) who can demonstrate that they have led (or co-led) a single significant research project or a cohesive body of research that contributes to advancing knowledge in policing theory, policy and/or practice.
