In this presentation devised for Social Sciences Week 2021, Professor Leanne Weber from the Canberra Law School will draw on her own professional experience as a social scientist who has recently begun working in a law school for the first time. In a wide-ranging discussion she will draw on several decades of criminological research on policing and border control to illustrate the value and importance of bringing together knowledge derived from legal and social science traditions.
